Heritage Matters on Otago Access Radio
Southern Heritage Trust’s very successful radio programme; A new episode is broadcast fortnightly, 12noon on a Monday and repeated on the following Sunday at 7pm

Burns Night: Burns and Ireland
Dunedin fans of Robbie Burns have been celebrating the poet’s birthday since 1855. Join Toitῡ Otago Settlers Museum and the Dunedin Burns Club to celebrate Burns’ Irish connections with Irish Ambassador Peter Ryan, and Eamon Cleary Professor of Irish Studies Sonja Tiernan from the University of Otago.

Enjoy traditional Scottish food and drink, kick your heels up at the ceilidh. Listen to the Scottish Fiddle Orchestra and hear classic Burns songs in Te Reo Māori with He Waka Kōtuia. Cheer the winners of the Burns poetry competition and welcome the University’s new Burns Fellow.
