Talk After 5 Series

Dr Michelle Moffat. Scottish experiences of the Second World War. While some historians have claimed that the Second World War was the high water mark of Britishness, newly discovered archives reveal that in Scotland there were significant undercurrents of discontent and strong feelings of connection with Scottish identity. Dr Moffat will also cover her experiences at the recent conference of the Second World War Research Group, which explored cutting edge global research in Second World War studies.

Lois Galer,  Heritage On the Rails. Trustee on the Dunedin Heritage Light Rail Trust, will talk about the cable cars, the Cable Car Museum and progress with the Light Rail project with the aim of reinstating the Mornington cable car line.
