VISIONS FOR DUNEDIN: ARCHAEOLOGY OF THE EVERYDAY

Speaker: Peter Petchey, a Dunedin-based archaeologist who specialises in New Zealand historical and industrial archaeology. He has also worked widely in South East Asia and the Pacific, and is the co-director of the Southern Cemeteries Archaeology Project. He has investigated many Dunedin urban sites, including the early timber causeway now on display in the wall Street Mall, and this talk considers some of his more recent local work.
